Kay Meredith - head trainer
 
Kay Meredith has trained and successfully competed through Grand Prix levels in dressage, representing the United States in international competitions and competingthrough the U.S. for three decades.  Among her many accomplishments, Kay was the 1982 National Grand prix Champion with Domino, and was a member of the 1983 United States Equestrian Team (USET) Gold Medal Dressage Team at the Pan-Am Games in Venezuela.  She was also a member of the USET Dressage TEAM in the World Championships in Toronto in 1986.  She has won United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Bronze, Silver and Gold medals; and in 1979 was named the American Horse Show Association Horsewoman of the Year.
Kay has won many prominent Musical Freestyles on the east coast and in the Midwest over the past twenty years.  Kay's background includes training with dressage experts from around the world, including Col. Bengt Ljungquist, international competitor and judge from Sweden, who was the coach of the US Bronze medal team in 1976.  She spent 4 years with Ernst Bachinger of the SpanishRiding School in Vienna, and 3 years with Wilfried Schmidt of Germany in addition to working with various coaches of the USET through the years.
In addition to her own accomplishments,  Kay has coached Rebecca Nelles to her USDF bronze, silver, and gold  medals. As well as many local and regional awards and Championship wins and placings.
 
 
Rebecca Nelles - trainer
 
Rebecca is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist. Rebecca now plans to complete the requirements for her USDF Freestyle Bars.
  Rebecca has always had a passion for horses and riding. Her passion is now focused on Dressage.
  Rebecca has been training with Kay Meredith for the last seven years. During this time she has also been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to clinic with Reinhard Neilsen of Gestut Groenwohldhof,  FEI 'O' Judge, Linda Zang, and Olympian Steffen Peters.
  Rebecca has been working as the assistant trainer for the last five years, under head trainer Kay Meredith out of Hidden Spring Farm in Knightdale, North Carolina.
  Rebecca has successfully brought along several horses from Training Level up to Prix St. George/Intermediare I under Kay's tutelage. Rebecca and her horses have placed Champion or  Reserve Champion for many BLM,  USDF, NCDCTA, and SWANA (SwedishWarmblood Assoc. of North America) Championships and year end awards.  She has coached Christie and Kid to Reserve Champion at Jr/YR Training Level, 2008 NCDCTA Horse of the Year.
