Farrah
Farrah
is a 7 year old, 14.3 hand registered Paint mare who does indeed have very pretty blue eyes. Farrah is a very forward
thinking horse who really likes to work. This mare loves having a job! She has only just begun her Dressage training
and in a few short months she really come along. She has already done very well at 2 shows. Winning her Intro B
with a 69%. She would have won her Intro A with a 70% but after the test the judge called me up to the booth to
ask me about her and not thinking, I let her walk out of the arena by the judges booth thus elminating us from
the class because we did not leave the arena at A. The following weekend she won her Training Level Test 1 with
a 70%. The pictures above are from that test. Farrah has also been on a 10+ mile hunter pace, crossing water and
jumping a downed log without batting an eye. She has also been started over small cross rails with no problems.
I would not reccommend her for a beginer only because she is a very forward horse, who I feel would be best suited
to a quiet confident rider (AA or JR/YR) who can continue to bring her along in her training.
**UPDATE** - Farrah attended the Carolina Mane Event Horse Show August 14 - 15 at the Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh.
We showed in Training Level Test 1, in the covered arena and won it with a 73.9%! As far as I know it was her first
time showing in a covered arena and she was great! We also entered some hunter classes on Sunday which were in
the indoor arena. I have only jumped her a handful of times and I am no hunter rider but Farrah was really good!
She went over all the jumps and didn't seem bothered by being in a group of horses in the flat classes. She also
didn't seem bothered by the indoor arena.
